Congratulations to RaginBull76, winner of the Week 7 Pick 'em and predict 'em game. He's also the first two time winner of the season. Walter Sobchak finished a very close second, having the same point differential, but losing on average variance by just two percentage points. That's a tough way to lose. Walter is due some kudos, though, for having the best record of the year in picking winners, 5-0. ZerogBull and Don Gee are tied for second in that respect, with a 5-1 record for each of them. Please put this week's picks in the comment section of this story to make it easier to find.

If it looks like you just saw one of these poll watch stories, it’s because you have. The two major national polls were delayed in coming out due to Hurricane Matthew. And, due to delays in adding several new rankings to the segment, last week’s posting was also behind. Fortunately, not much has changed in the short time between these two postings.

The poll watch continues as the Bulls stay on the cusp of being ranked through Week Five. In addition to the two big polls, this feature will now include other prominent media rankings to add context and diversity of opinion. The big media and coaches’ poll often reflect one another, which is probably an indication that they influence one another.
