Looking Back
USF basketball player, Malik Martin has been granted his release. Martin transferred to USF after two seasons with USC. There has been no word on where he will transfer to, next. He is expected to graduate and be immediately eligible to play for another school.
The Tampa Bay Times’ Joey Knight is reporting that women’s basketball assistant, Jeff Osterman, has stepped down. Details are murky about his departure, but Knight notes the speed at which Osterman has been removed from USF’s websites.
Looking Forward
The USF men’s basketball team has landed what appears to be a very legitimate center prospect. Junior college transfer and Croatia native, Antun Maricevc, has committed to the program. At 6-10, 240 pounds, the Bulls will have some size in the paint.
The Oracle is reporting that USF has been chosen to host the American Athletic Conference Softball Tournament in May.
